This was originally supposed to be Matt Garza’s spot in Milwaukee’s rotation, but he was scratched due to tightness in his shoulder. In his time as a starter this season did not go too well, as he is 2-7 with a 4.38 in 11 starts. Friday night will easily be the least expensive game of the season with a get-in price of just $5.
9/27 – Tsuyoshi Wada vs Wily Peralta | Avg. Price: $41 | Get-in Price: $17
Saturday will fan appreciation day at Miller Park, which is the reasoning for the highest average price of the series. The get-in price is almost double the next expensive, but is still a relatively low $17. Saturday’s starter, Wily Peralta, will be looking for his 17th win of the season in his 32nd start. Wada is 4-3 in his 12 starts with a 3.22 ERA.
9/28 – Kyle Hendricks vs Mike Fiers | Avg. Price: $38 | Get-in Price: $9
The season finale will be the second most expensive game of the series, but will have a significant drop off in the get-in price. Mike Fiers has only appeared in 13 games this season, starting nine, but he’s been able to give up just 14 earned runs in 65.2 innings for a stellar 1.92 ERA. Hendricks has two wins against the Brewers this season. He threw 7 ⅓ shutout innings against Milwaukee on August 12.
