According to Dan Connolly of The Baltimore Sun, right fielder Nick Markakis had dinner last night in Monkton with an Atlanta Braves contingent that included manager Fredi Gonzalez. Connolly also adds that Braves GM John Hart did not attend this meet-and-greet with the 31-year old.

Markakis enters this offseason drawing interest from multiple clubs, including the San Francisco Giants, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, and Baltimore Orioles.

The left-handed hitter was supposedly closing in on a deal a 4-year deal worth $10-12 million annually, but have had little movement since, reports Dan Connolly.

Markakis hit .276, with 14 HR, and 50 RBI with the Orioles this past season.
