Five Candidates To Replace Don Mattingly

[tps_title]5. Tim Wallach –– Dodgers Bench Coach[/tps_title]

The Dodgers, unlike so many other teams with managerial vacancies, don’t need a complete overhaul. Some continuity on the bench could prove beneficial, and Wallach has certainly put in enough time in the Dodgers organization. He was the manager for the Dodgers AAA affiliate in 2009, when he won manager of the year honors in the Pacific Coast League. Wallach was on Mattingly’s staff throughout his tenure with the Dodgers. Wallach has been tied to the Nationals vacancy, and interviewed for previous managerial openings in Seattle and Detroit. Wallach is respected by the players, and has been known for his strong communication skills.
