2. Joey Gallo, 3B/OF, Texas Rangers

Big Joey Gallo spent some time in the bigs last year and put on a show with his monstrous power. He hit six home runs and drove in 14 runs in 36 games, while also knocking out 23 bombs in Triple-A. There is absolutely no questioning the raw power of Gallo, but there is still some question about the rest of his hitting ability. Gallo’s strikeout rate is through the roof, and he struggled to make good contact in his time with the Rangers. Still, his raw power is too tremendous to ignore, and assuming he makes the league next year, Gallo will be a top candidate for ROY.

no way on Joey Gallo, hits sub .200, strikeout rate 40%, and has a four and a half second long swing.
