Thanksgiving is here, and it’s time to be thankful for many things in our lives. Obviously, in baseball, there’s a lot to be thankful for: walkoff homers, bat flips, no-hitters, post-game pies in the face, and so much more. All of those are amazing, but none of them compete with my favorite part of baseball — the postseason.
You get a piece of everything in the postseason, and it’s coming from the top 10 teams in baseball.
In 2014, the Kansas City Royals’ unforeseen postseason run came to an end when they met the San Francisco Giants in the World Series. The Giants defeated the Royals in Game 7, winning their third world title since 2010. One year later, the Royals returned to the fall classic, and they got the job done to secure their first world championship since 1985. That’s pretty awesome.
