1.) We are thankful for the 2016 All Star game to be played in beautiful San Diego
For the first time since 1992, the MLB All-Star Game is coming to America’s Finest City. Last time it was here, the Padres were well represented by the likes of (All Star game starters) Crime Dog (Fred McGriff), Benito Santiago, and of course, Mr. Padre, Tony Gwynn. Totaling five players with the reserves of Gary Sheffield and Tony Fernandez. The last time the game was here, I wasn’t born yet to enjoy it.
Padres fans have been forgotten by baseball, and most get that weird shocked look when they say they are Padre fans. Well, all eyes will be on our beautiful baseball stadium next summer, and for the first time in awhile, we can proudly say we are Padre fans, and this is where we get to watch baseball.
