Baseball’s First Pro Team: 1900-1913
The first years featured many elements seen on later incarnations of the Cincy uniforms.
Early on both the home and away uniforms had “Cincinnati” across the front in red. The home was a plain white jersey with a collar and even a pocket. The road uniforms, with a collar was in both a gray and a blueish gray.
The road uniforms took on the different “C” logos on a dark gray uniform. The 1911 and 1913 jerseys had red trim on the shirt’s placket.
The hats went through many variations of red or white hats with red or white seam stripes on the panels.
