A few subtle changes occurred with this era of Reds uniforms.

The home and road uniforms maintained the same look they adopted in the early 1940s. The home whites had the same red and navy based “C Reds” logo on the left chest. “Cincinnati” was still an arched red script on the road grays.

The team dropped the navy colored undershirts and the accents to the stirrups.

A small change was done to the hat. Now, the hat was all navy with the red wishbone “C”.
