We’re approaching the two-month mark of the baseball season, which means that we’re approximately one month away from the “Midsummer Classic.” Unlike most “All-Star Games”, the MLB All-Star game determines which league will possess home-field advantage (thanks, Mike Greenberg) going into the World Series in October. Historically, the National League holds the advantage, with a 45-40-1 record. Although, the American League has dominated recently, winning 15 of the last 19 games, most notably the last three in a row. Entering the 87th edition, the National League will look to end the American League’s dominance, and regain home-field advantage in the “Fall Classic.”
