Indians Tickets 19% Below Average For Series Vs Rangers

The Texas Rangers travel to Progressive Field this weekend to play the Cleveland Indians for three games. The Indians schedule will welcome the Rangers for the final time this season as playoff hopes continue to dwindle for the third place Indians. The season average for Indians tickets is $65.26 on the secondary market, but this weekend’s series will have an average price below that number during each game. The series as a whole will be 19.1% below the season average.

8/1 – Jerome Williams vs Danny Salazar | Avg. Price: $64.19 | Get-in Price: $18

Danny Salazar will get the nod for the Indians against Rangers pitcher Jerome Williams in the series opener tonight. Friday Indians vs Rangers tickets currently average at $64.19 on the secondary market, the highest of the series but still 1.6% below the season average, with a get-in price of $18. Salazar has continued to improve following a brief stint in the Minors this season and enters Friday’s game at 3-4 with a 4.96 ERA. Williams makes his second start for the Rangers tonight after pitching six innings of one-run ball in his debut last Friday. $1 hot dogs and post game fireworks will also take place on Friday.

8/2 – Miles Mikolas vs T.J. House | Avg. Price: $56.09 | Get-in Price: $18

Saturday’s game will feature Indians lefty T.J. House against the Rangers’ Miles Mikolas. The average price for Saturday Indians vs Rangers tickets is $56.09 on the secondary market, 14.05% below the season average. Get-in price for Saturday’s game starts at $18. House will be called back up after the Indians traded away Justin Masterson. The southpaw has gone 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA this season. Mikolas hasn’t pitched much better, entering Saturday with a 1-3 record and 8.54 ERA. The Indians will also offer a Jim Thome statue giveaway to the first 12,500 fans in attendance.

8/3 – Yu Darvish vs Trevor Bauer | Avg. Price: $38 | Get-in Price: $9

Trevor Bauer will take the mound for the Indians against Rangers ace Yu Darvish in the series finale on Sunday. The average secondary price for Sunday Indians vs Rangers tickets $38, the cheapest of the series at 41.7% below the season average, with a get-in price of $9. Bauer takes the hill with a 4-6 record and 4.25 ERA on the season while Darvish has been nothing short of fantastic for the lowly Rangers, going 10-6 with a 2.90 ERA and earning All-Star honors.
