The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed right-handed starting pitcher A.J. Burnett to a one-year contract, the team announced Friday.
The deal is a reported worth one-year, for $8.5-million, according to Jon Heyman.

This will be Burnett’s second time period with the Pirates. The veteran was with the Pittsburgh for two seasons in 2012 and 2013. Then, he signed with the Philadelphia Phillies for 2014.
