As it has been reported by Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish, the Los Angeles Dodgers have not shut the door on re-signing shortstop Hanley Ramirez. However, Ramirez is exploring his options.
Ramirez hit .283 with 13 home runs and 71 RBIs in 2014 with the Dodgers. He has already rejected a $15.3 million qualifying offer from the Dodgers earlier this month. This was expected even before it happened.
Earlier this week, it was reported by Bob Nightengale of USA Today that the Dodgers are “aggressively” pursuing shortstop Alexei Ramirez of the Chicago White Sox.
