MLB Rumors: Pablo Sandoval receives contract offer from Red Sox

Update: According to Gordon Edes of ESPN Boston, Sandoval has left Boston without an offer.  However, he’s still waiting for one from the Red Sox.

Pablo Sandoval and his executives spent some time in Boston and at the end of it all he received a contract offered to play for the Boston Red Sox, according to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.

The precise details of the contract offer are unknown. However, it was made know that he is searching for a deal in the $80-90 million range with both the Red Sox and San Francisco Giants.

Sandoval launched 16 home runs and added a 3.0 WAR over 157 games in 2014 with the World Series-winning Giants.
