According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, the Toronto Blue Jays have interest in free agent second baseman Alberto Callaspo.

The switch-hitting Callaspo, 31, can play everywhere in the infield as well as both corner outfield spots.
This past season with the Athletics, he hit a lackluster .223/.290/.290. However, he has shown the ability to hit at about the league average or better previously in his career and moving from the spacious O.co Coliseum to the Rogers Centre could help his numbers.
