Torii Hunter returns to Minnesota on a one-year deal

According to Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY, the Minnesota Twins win the sweepstakes for OF Torii Hunter, bringing him back home on a one-year deal. Hunter will get $10.5 million according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

Hunter spent the first eleven years of his career in the Twin Cities, putting up an average of .271, with 192 HR, with 711 RBI.

He recently played two seasons over in Detroit for the Tigers, but now he returns home.
