Seattle Mariners Rumors: In talks for Dayan Viciedo

The Chicago White Sox recently put Dayan Viciedo back out on the trade market, and much like last year, the Seattle Mariners have rekindled interest for the 25-year-old DH/outfielder, according to Scott Merkin with MLB.com.

The two teams were also in talks for Viciedo last season, but talks died down before a deal could be made. Chicago is looking for an additional bullpen piece, as the team is looking to completely revitalize their relief pitching from last season.

The move could also be to free up some additional money, as the team looks for a new left fielder for the 2015 season. A move for a relief pitcher could free them of some salary, as Viciedo is set to make up to $4.4 million next year.

More updates will be coming if the teams agree to a deal.
