5. Touki Toussaint RHP: The 18 year-old Haitian has tremendous potential, which is why Arizona took him sixteenth overall in the 2014 draft. Toussaint is very raw given his age, but the skills are there. His fastball touches 96 MPH and his curveball has the makings of an excellent out pitch. He pitched 28 innings in Rookie ball last year, giving up 38 hits, which is a red flag for someone with his skill. The Dbacks will have their kid gloves on with him, so expect to see him likely start the season in Single-A.
Toussaint will need to work on his command and control of his pitches to have success as he climbs up the ranks in the organization. He comes in at #5 because of his raw skills and potential. A good way to look at it is he has three years until he would be a more common prospect age, which is age 21-22. The fact that he is where he is on this list at age 18 speaks volumes to his high ceiling. Come 2017, Toussaint should be a mainstay in Phoenix.
