2. Brandon Finnegan- The TCU product was the first player in the 2014 draft to make it to the MLB. He is also the first player ever to play in the College World Series and also the World Series in the same year. There’s a lot to like in this this young lefty as he possess a fastball in the mid-90’s. His best secondary is a plus slider that sits in the low-80’s. The changeup is a work in progress as it is about an average pitch right now. His control is pretty advanced for a pitcher at his age. Finnegan has the potential to be a number two starter in the majors. Judging from his work this season, if he struggles as a starter he does have the stuff to be a dominate relief pitcher.
