1B Greg Bird- Bird is a lesser version of Aaron Judge, but wow, did he put on a powerful season last year. From FSL, to the Trenton Thunder, and even the Arizona Fall Leagues, Bird has made the rounds, and impressed at all levels. He could be a 25 homer threat at the major league level. Bird has a great eye which helps him become a good hitter at the plate, despite maybe only having .260-.270 potential. He’s not the best fielder, but won’t kill a team either, and in a time, where first base prospects are pretty thin overall, he could have a huge value at the trade deadline. If he stays a Yankee, I think he’ll take major advantage of the short porch in right.
Grade: B Potential: 25-homer, everyday 1B.
