Peter Gammons reports that the Red Sox and Dodgers have been “aggressive” on free agent right-hander Alexi Ogando.
Scouts I know liked Ogando’s workout. Red Sox, Dodgers aggressive, know next week

Ogando worked out in Tampa on Friday with two dozen teams on hand to watch the 31-year-old free agent showcase his talent.
Ogando struggled to a 6.84 ERA over 27 injury-hampered appearances with the Rangers last season. He was 7-4 with a 3.11 ERA over 23 outings (18 starts) in 2013, while again being slowed by injuries.
It’s unclear what it’ll take to sign him, but he’ll likely settle for a contract loaded with performance-based incentives after being limited by shoulder and elbow injuries in each of the last two seasons.
