Top 10 Players Under The Age of 25

5. Anthony Rendon (Washington Nationals), 24

Rendon made a name for himself last season having a breakout performance in his second season in the majors. Rendon won his first Silver Slugger at third base posting a slash line of .287/.351/.473. He hit 21 home runs while leading the league in runs scored. He finished fifth in the NL MVP voting.

I love Rendon, and now that he is definitely the man at third base for the Nationals with Ryan Zimmerman moving to first, I think he has the potential to hit 25 home runs and hit .300. He posted a 6.4 WAR which ranked fourth in the NL. The Nationals are showing they are ready to win with the newly acquired Max Scherzer so it is up to the young guys in Rendon and Bryce Harper to take them to World Series. Expect Rendon to make his first All-Star appearance and another Silver Slugger from the hot corner.
