Troy’s Top 10: Second Basemen

1. Jose Altuve– Wow! What a season Altuve had. He led the league in batting average with a .341 average, and also led the league in hits with 225. The young 24-year old also led the American League with 56 stolen bases. Now to go along with that average, Altuve scored 85 runs. Altuve is very solid defensively as well. He had a .986 fielding percentage and committed just 10 errors. Now the Houston Astros second baseman was easily the best second baseman this last year, and in my opinion, has the talent to be the best second baseman for the next 10 years.

Honorable Mentions– Brandon Phillips, Brian DozierDJ LeMahieu, Jason Kipnis, Kolten Wong
