Power Rankings: Top Fifteen 3rd Basemen in ’15

  1. Adrian Beltre (Texas Rangers)

The fact that being ranked 9th at the age of 35 (and turning 36 opening week) is a low ranking for Beltre is a feat of its own. Adrian Beltre has been a top-tier, All-Star, MVP caliber player for a very long time. Why he has only been an All-Star four times is far beyond me.

Beltre has proved everyone wrong about his age, seeing as how over the last five years he has averaged 29 HR, 96 RBI, and .316 BA. But, this is the year that those numbers start going down. In my eyes, Adrian Beltre belongs in the Hall of Fame, but for now, he is officially on the decline.

Adrian Beltre has a 17 year-long ride up the ladder, but I am suspecting the climb back down will come much quicker.
