Ranking Each AL Team’s Best Offseason Move

15. Texas Rangers acquire Anthony Ranaudo from Boston Red Sox for Robbie Ross Jr.

Arguably one of the better prospects in the Boston Red Sox farm system, Ranaudo was shipped out to Texas for bullpen depth in Ross Jr. The Rangers are getting a good amount of potential in Ranaudo, who had a record of 14-4 last season for Triple-A Pawtucket with a 2.71 ERA and 111 strikeouts. He has the stuff to be a solid third starter in the MLB. Ranaudo was also named the International League Most Valuable Pitcher of the 2014 season.
