Jacoby Ellsbury versus Juan Lagares
In his first year as a Yankee, Ellsbury was a slight disappointment as he hit only .271, however he did steal 42 bases. I expect his numbers to go up as he becomes more comfortable in the Bronx. Lagares had an incredibly outrageous defensive season as he had +28 defensive runs saved. Don’t expect another outstanding season from Lagares, who also hit .281/.321/.382.
Edge: Yankees. Ellsbury should be better offensively.
