10. Alcides Escobar, Kansas City Royals

Escobar is almost the same player as Andrus. He provides 20+ steals and 70+ runs, but isn’t really a reliable contributor in other categories. Last year, he hit .285 with 31 steals and 74 runs. He also added 50 RBI for his third consecutive season. In most leagues, he will go a few rounds after Andrus, so if you are looking for value at shortstop in runs and steals, Escobar could be your guy. Just remember, he will not be much of a power threat and had a rough 2013, only hitting .234 with a .259 on-base percentage.
