Fantasy Baseball: Top 10 Shortstops

6. Starlin Castro, Chicago Cubs

It’s hard to believe that Castro still hasn’t turned 25 years old. The young Dominican earned his third all-star selection in 2014, hitting .292 with 65 RBI and 14 home runs. Once a consistent base-stealer, his totals dropped from nine in 2013 to four last season. Look for his steals production to increase with new manager Joe Maddon.

After the top 6, there are several guys that could go in almost any order. If you are in a category league, it may make sense to grab a guy like Elvis Andrus or Alcides Escobar that will get runs and steals for your club. Others like Johnny Peralta, JJ Hardy, or Javier Baez are solid home run threats.
