16. Baltimore Orioles

The Orioles have some uncertainty with key players heading into 2015. Matt Wieters isn’t expected to be ready to start 2015 (he was having a career year before his injury.) Manny Machado is expected to be ready for Opening Day, and although he has super-star potential, it’s going to be hard for the Orioles to expect much from the young third baseman until he proves completely healthy. All that being said, the Orioles were still able to make a strong entrance into the playoffs until they were dispatched by the Angels. That was with Nick Markakis and Nelson Cruz still around. With Alejandro De Aza and Travis Snider stepping into those old roles, the Orioles will be scraping for offense to start the season. The Orioles certainly have the ability to take their division, but it will take some work, and full recoveries from Wieters and Machado for that to happen.

How do you not mention Justin Morneau in the Rockies section when you talk about how much talent they have? He just won the batting title…
