Potential Surgery Could End Lee’s Season, Career

With the news coming out of Philadelphia Phillies camp yesterday that southpaw Cliff Lee is experiencing elbow soreness, the idea of surgery was floated out:

Surgery could keep Lee out six-to-nine months, and for the 36-year old, it could be enough to force him to hangup his cleats.

In an article by Mike Breen of philly.com, Lee explains that the soreness he felt over the weekend is the same soreness that limited him to 13 starts in 2014.
