Power Rankings: Top 20 Outfielders in ’15

  1. Andrew McCutchen (Pittsburgh Pirates)

Everyone knows who is number one on this list, but what many don’t know is just how good number two is. Andrew McCutchen is possibly the third best player in baseball, but much of that is due to the fact that the two best players in baseball are two of the best we’ve seen. McCutchen had a solid first two years in the league, but after a breakout year in 2011 McCutchen became a top tier player and hasn’t looked back.

Averaged out over the last four years, McCutchen has a stat line of .304 BA, 95 R, 25 HR, 88 RBI, 22 SB, and .394 OBP. That stat line put up against anyone in the league will still look strong.

McCutchen is a true five-tool player who is strong in every aspect of his game. The one tool, however, that can’t be measured is his leadership. McCutchen is the leader of a Pirates team that has gone to the playoffs to years in a row after a 19 year drought.

Andrew McCutchen is a top fantasy player, a top baseball player, and a top human being. The future is bright for Cutch.
