3) Josh Johnson will contribute to the 2015 Padres… at some point.
Coming off a second Tommy John surgery, Josh Johnson looks to make a Major League comeback in 2015.
This year, we will see him contribute to the big league squad.
The 31-year-old looks to finally make his first appearance as a Padre, and he’s definitely a guy who can help this ball club down the stretch. If healthy, Johnson has quality stuff to get hitters out, and could be very valuable as a starter or even out of the bullpen.
As he is currently working his way back, the Padres hope to catch lightning in a bottle with Johnson. If he can fully work his way back to being healthy, expect to see him in a big league uniform sometime around mid-season.
