Five Bold Predictions for the 2015 Los Angeles Dodgers

3) Clayton Kershaw will get his perfect game.

On June 18, 2014, Kershaw threw a perfect game, but Hanley Ramirez did not field one. Kershaw had to settle for a no-hitter thanks to an error by Ramirez that allowed Corey Dickerson to reach first base. The 2015 version of the Dodgers don’t have any defensive liabilities like the 2014 team did, with a vastly improved defense up the middle. Kershaw’s strikeout rate and groundball rate, combined with improved defense and his overall dominance, make a Kershaw perfect game such a foregone conclusion that maybe, in retrospect, it has no business calling itself a “bold” prediction.
