2015 will be a big year for the Chicago Cubs. After an offseason that saw the Cubs transition from a rebuilding team to possible contention, optimism is running at all time high in Wrigleyville. However, if the Cubs are to seriously contend for the division crown, they’ll have to go through two-time defending Central champions St. Louis, which is why Sunday’s opening night battle between the two age-old rivals is so important. The game will feature many of the Cubs’ offseason acquisitions, including manager Joe Maddon, and ace pitcher, Jon Lester. So, in no particular order, here are my keys to victory for the North siders.
