The Chicago White Sox, one year removed from winning a mere 73 games and finishing 4th in the AL Central, will look to make noise in 2015 thanks to many key additions by general manager Rick Hahn. The bullpen, after being one of the worst in 2014, has drastically improved thanks to the addition of closer David Robertson and set-up lefty Zach Duke. Melky Cabrera and Adam LaRoche were also brought in to drastically improve a lineup that struggled to generate offense around Jose Abreu. Finally, Hahn brought in a dominant righty to slot between lefties Chris Sale and Jose Quintana in the form of Jeff Samardzija. Now with optimism at an all-time high, the White Sox will open their season on Tuesday against the defending AL champion Royals. Until then, here are five predictions for readers to chew on.
