Five Bold Predictions for the 2015 Miami Marlins

1. Marcell Ozuna Breaks Out.

For a team with so much young talent like the Marlins, some players are going to be unfairly left out of the spotlight. Ozuna is one such player. While fellow outfielders Yelich and Stanton have both seen a salary increase, Ozuna hasn’t been so fortunate. Ozuna will force the Marlins to the negotiation table with his 2015 performance.

In 2014, Ozuna became the 55th player (and 3rd Marlin) to hit at least 23 home runs and drive in 85 runs in their first or second season before turning 24. The first and second Marlins to do it? None other than Miguel Cabrera and Stanton. He’s been drawing Andruw Jones comparisons from his manager, Mike Redmond. If you don’t kow Marcell Ozuna’s name now, you will by the end of the year.
