3. Max Scherzer will win the NL Cy Young.
Clayton Kershaw has had his time in the sun. This year, Scherzer will unseat the three-time winner Kershaw. After going 39-8 the last two seasons, Scherzer moves over to a division that features three of the weakest lineups in baseball in the Phillies, Braves, and Mets. Kershaw’s NL West division got substantially better with the aggressive offseason of the Padres. By the slimmest of margins, I believe Max Scherzer will edge out Clayton Kershaw for the NL Cy Young.
