Thanks to a clause in his contract, Zack Greinke has the power to opt out of his current contract with the Dodgers after three years. At the end of the current 2015 season, Greinke will have been under contract for a full three years and it is widely expected that he will opt out in pursuit of more money. Greinke has been arguably baseball’s best pitcher in 2015. The righty has dominated every time he’s taken the hill for the Dodgers.

Potential suitors: Let’s be real, he’s not going anywhere.

The Dodgers are currently leading the NL West, and have some very good prospects waiting in the wings at Triple-A. The Dodgers aren’t about to deal away one of baseball’s best and shoot their championship hopes in the foot.
