Soria, 31, has posted a 2.85 ERA, 4.81 FIP this year with 23 saves in 26 opportunities. He spent five seasons with the Kansas City Royals and one and a half with the Texas Rangers before going to the Tigers. He will likely be used in the seventh and eighth innings with Mark Melancon staying at closer. We will update when more information comes out.
