According to Todd Zolecki of MLB.com, the Blue Jays have acquired outfielder Ben Revere from the Phillies.
Ben Revere will be traded to Blue Jays. @JSalisburyCSN first had Totonto’s interest in Revere.

Revere, 27, is slashing .298/.334/.374 with a 97 wRC+, 1.7 fWAR in 388 plate appearances this year. He will seemingly fill the Blue Jays’ lead off spot and will likely take over as the everyday center or left fielder. He is free agent eligible as early as 2018 and will be relatively cheap in arbitration for a one to two win player. The Blue Jays have one of the best offensive outfielders, but Revere will improve their defense as a late inning replacement.
Chris Cotillo of SB Nation on if the Revere trade is finished:
Multiple industry sources are questioning if Ben Revere has been dealt to the Blue Jays. Speculation is that a deal may not be done there.
