Back on April 8, as the 2015 season was in its infancy, I wrote a piece laying out five bold predictions for the Washington Nationals. At the time, the injury bug had already struck the Nationals, but I still felt good about their chances as a playoff contender. No one saw the New York Mets coming, and the division should still have been a runaway for the boys from D.C. Turns out, it wasn’t that easy, and the Nationals are now fighting for their playoff lives as it is actually the Mets who have the best rotation in the division.
