Is it too early to start talking about the offseason? Well, when you’re a fan of the Baltimore Orioles, absolutely not. The 2016 offseason is a critical one, as the franchise will be forced to decide which direction it wants to go in — begin a minor rebuild or aggressively spend to continue contending in the still rather nebulous American League East. The Orioles should have the cash available to keep their team in position to contend every year, especially with the continued uncertainty in Boston, the scorched Earth farm system in Toronto, and the backlog of bad contracts plaguing New York.
