Lock up Trevor Rosenthal long-term
The 25-year-old Trevor Rosenthal is eligible for arbitration this year, and Mozeliak would be wise to move quickly in hammering out a multi-year contract with his closer. Rosenthal has been very good since taking the reins as closer in 2014, and he was nothing short of dominant in 2015, accumulating a 2.10 ERA and nailing down 48 saves. At only 25, Rosenthal still has even more room to grow, so a four-year contract that would buy out the rest of his arbitration as well as his first year of free agency seems reasonable. Look for the money to be around the $42 million Craig Kimbrel got when he was in Atlanta.
