7.) A Cespedes contract with any team but the Mets

This is clearly out of the Nationals control, but man would it be nice to see Cespedes playing for any team but the Mets in 2016. After being acquired, Cespedes destroyed the Nationals. The fact that the Mets will have their backs against the wall when it comes time to sign Cespedes has been well-documented. That the Mets have made it to the World Series could give them a leg up in their efforts to re-sign the Cuban outfielder. Most likely, Cespedes will not be back in New York in 2016, and that helps the Nationals.
