[tps_title]4. Wil Myers is Hopefully Healthy for the Long Term[/tps_title]
Probably the biggest concern for the Padres throughout the 2015 season was whether Wil Myers could stay healthy and make the trade that lost the Padres top prospects Trea Turner and Joe Ross worthwhile. After a great start to the season, Myers was sidelined with a wrist injury. Following a short-lived return in June, Myers once again was forced to the sideline, where he had surgery to repair the wrist that had been giving him trouble since last season. Myers missed a few months before returning near the end of the season. In the final months, Myers showed flashes of brilliance once again and appeared to be fully healthy. Despite this success, Myers faced one more setback when he was once again shut down for the season because of wrist pains. For the Padres, having Myers on the field was a bright spot while having him on the sidelines was a big concern. For 2016, the Padres are hoping Myers can be on the field more than he is off it.
