Major League Baseball’s 25-and-under postseason All-Star team

Shortstop: Carlos Correa, Houston Astros, current age 21.041

Regular season stats: 89 games, .279/.345/.512, 22 HR, 68 RBI, 14 SB

Postseason stats: .292/.320/.583, 2 HR, 4 RBI

Correa became the youngest player to bat third in a playoff game since Mickey Mantle did it in 1953. Yes, 1953. What did he do in that game? Oh, just hit two home runs and had the Astros positioned to advance to the ALCS before ‘Missouri Baseball Devil Magic’ took over. Correa hit 22 homers in 89 games and was 20 years old for almost the entire season. It took Bryce Harper 139 games to hit 22 homers in his rookie season. The ceiling for Correa is impossibly high.
