With the World Series now over, the 2015-16 offseason is just around the corner. For the Padres, the offseason began almost a month ago when they finished another disappointing season with a loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers. After high hopes coming out of Spring Training, the Padres ended up with a new manager halfway through the season and another losing record. Fresh off the heels of the hiring of new manager, Andy Green, A.J. Preller has a lot of work to do this offseason to once again make the Padres relevant going into 2016.
Here are five things on the top of the Padres wish list for 2016. If A.J. Preller can pull all five off, playoff baseball may finally return to San Diego in 2016.
