The offseason for Major League Baseball starts this weekend and it’s the start to a brand new season for teams coming off either a disappointing season or a season in which they outdid everyone’s expectations. The Arizona Diamondbacks fall under the “outdid everyone’s expectations” category. The D’backs were predicted before the season to finish in last place in the National League West, only to finish 2 games under .500 and in third place, which was their best finish since 2013.

Here are three things the Diamondbacks must check off their offseason to-do list as they go into 2016 with postseason play on their minds.
