Last offseason, the Chicago White Sox were labeled “winners” as they had brought in many impact pieces like David Robertson, Melky Cabrera and Adam LaRoche through free agency and traded for right-handed starter Jeff Samardzija to bolster the rotation. It quickly became apparent that general manager Rick Hahn had whiffed though, as only Robertson provided solid value from the closer’s spot in the bullpen.
