3. An Adam LaRoche trade
LaRoche was nothing the White Sox were hoping for when he signed, and now they will be looking to unload the $13 million still owed to him in 2016. With only one year left on his contract, he would only be a rental player for whichever team acquired him, limiting the return he would bring back. However, the White Sox would more so just be getting rid of the salary rather than trying to bring back a big return. That said, teams needing a first baseman like the Rays, Orioles, Cardinals, and Pirates could be interested in acquiring the 36-year-old.
