The 2015 season was a year of transition for the Tampa Bay Rays. All-Stars David Price and Ben Zobrist were gone. Budding star Wil Myers was traded as well as minor fan favorites Jeremy Hellickson and Matt Joyce. Then the lovable Joe Maddon fled to Chicago.
New general manager Matt Silverman and new manager Kevin Cash had to adapt and overcome a litany of injuries and personnel changes. By the end of the season they finished with an unexpected 80-82 record. Moving forward to the 2016 season, the front office has already made a six-player trade. However, by all accounts they are not done.
Here are some of the biggest questions the Rays will have to tackle this offseason.
